2021 Gift Guide - For Curious and Creative Kids
My first gift guide this season is for the curious and creative kid! Of course my kids have a list full of items from big box stores, with commercial characters, but I like to supplement those wishlists with toys and games that evoke curiosity and creativity. I poked around some of my favorite shops for some surprise, out of the box ideas for the kiddos.
DIY Snow globe making kit - perfect for one of those bitter cold days when you are stuck inside.
Ruth Bader Ginsburg Trailblazer doll - kitschy and cute, these icon dolls are so darn fun!
personalized kids memory book - love everything that Pinhole Press does, and these memory prompt books are no exception. 15 blank pages to get your kid’s juices flowing
skyline chess set - my son has been dabbling with chess and this set would be a major upgrade from the plastic and cardboard version he’s been learning on.
Harry Potter book set - In the past year my son and I have bonded over reading Harry Potter together. I never read these books growing up, but it’s been so fun discovering their magic together.
Gratitude box - every kid (and grown up too) can use a reminder of the need to be grateful. This box contains prompts, activities and crafts to cultivate a grateful attitude.
Spirograph set - Hello nostalgia! I absolutely loved this toy growing up and I bet my kids would too.
The Family Adventure Challenge - This adorable scratch-off book contains adventure ideas for a whole year!
spend, save, give bank -Trying to teach my kids about finances is a goal. Think this bank will help littles learn and how to make smart financial decisions.
