I am so excited to finally be sharing this fabulous wedding with you!! Lindsay and James are a truly magical couple, laid back, sweet, and such a great story. He is from South Africa and she from West Michigan, they met at Burning Man and live in California. We had so many late night facetime chats over the course of a year that I actually miss talking to them on the regular. They put so much trust in me and my work, and didn’t bat an eye when I broke the news that I would be 36 weeks pregnant at their wedding.
Lindsey and James, got married at Camp Blodgett, the venue where I actually tied the knot! It felt so special to be part of another couple’s love story there! Their vision was a relaxed, greenery-filled, lakeside wedding, with all the best parts of West Michigan in August. The day was absolutely perfect, sunny and warm, with an epic sunset. Megan Gielow, talented photographer and bride’s childhood friend, captured Lindsay and Jame’s special day so perfectly.
