One Room Challenge Week 6 // Studio Bath Reveal

In some projects there is one element that makes the room, this bath makeover is truly the sum of its parts. Ripping out the dated paneled drop ceiling, raising the height and adding shiplap made a HUGE difference. Adding decretive trim to to the walls, doors and bookshelf made this makeover look way more expensive than it was. A fresh coat of moody purple-grey paint (“Vintage Collection” by Magnolia) changed the space and the new vinyl peel and stick floor tiles completed the look.

One Room Challenge Week 2 // Gift Closet

Currently working on our basement bath renovation, the unique part about this bathroom is that there are two large storage closets and a storage shelf. I plan to keep one closet as storage, my family’s personal keepsake items. The storage shelf will be inventory for weddings and styling items and the third closet will be a gift wrapping closet. I am excited about the bathroom looking modern and my style, but I am SO excited about this closet!

Cozy Fall Bedroom Refresh

My bedroom was a room in my home that hasn’t gotten much love since we moved in. I don’t think I bought one new item for this space. And it looked fine, but I certainly wasn’t excited about it. I set out to do a mini makeover to restore my excitement for our bedroom. Budget was high priority here, so I knew there weren’t going to be major purchases.
