Downtown Market Wedding

Meg and Alex really wanted to bring their story to their wedding day. They held their ceremony for closest friends and family at their historic, home in the Heritage Hill District of Grand Rapids. A string quartet played as the couple walked down the aisle at the edge of their back lawn. Their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Elton, stole the show. They also hosted a champagne toast in their driveway before guests moved a few blocks away to the magical greenhouse at the Downtown Market.

At the Downtown Market, the tables were set with whimsical gingham runners, and exquisite florals and candles designed by Hyssop Floral. The market is home to multiple local food vendors and couples are able to choose which to serve for their wedding. Meg and Alex chose Tacos El Cuñado for their guests to feast on. Followed by cupcakes from the Cakabakery. After dessert, guests danced the night away to The Blue Water Kings.
