Favorite Pre-made Bath Vanities

I’m a designer, so naturally I love a custom vanity, but they aren’t for everyone. There are pros and cons to both the custom and pre-made vanity options. Most clients do not have the vision to picture a vanity that doesn’t exist out in the world. Of course, that’s where my job comes in. But also, clients don’t always want to invest in a custom vanity, especially in those spaces that don’t get as much love, the kids bathroom, the guest bathroom, etc. Enter all of the fabulous pre-made options. Pre-made vanities have come a LONG way! There are many great design, function, and wood tone options. They go so far beyond the builder-grade blocks many of us have in our homes built over the last several decades. I also love that most pre-made vanities come with a stone top and even a sink. That can save you a lot of money. I have done some research and found that a custom vanity, base only, can cost roughly as much as some options on the list below. The countertop can drive up the cost up to a couple thousand dollars. That said, if you go the custom route you have endless stone options, so you are able to pick something really special. Most pre-made vanities come with a white quartz or Carrara marble top. You are also limited with plumbing and sink shape with pre-made vanities since the holes are already drilled. You are likely to have to choose a widespread faucet over a single hole or wall mount. My official stance on pre-made vanities is that they are fabulous! There are many beautiful options in any style and size imaginable. If you opt for a pre-made vanity, you’ll probably have a bigger budget to spend on great lighting or a show stopping backsplash tile.
