Best Tent Styles for Your Dream Wedding
As we make our way into spring, we start the tent season here in Michigan. This is always a favorite every year. Looking at the different types of tents and seeing how many creative ways a couple can decorate and make them her own. Most of the time, when people are talking about tents, you think of either a circus tent or a basic white tent that you have rented for a graduation party or family reunion. Over the years we have gotten really creative in dressing up and personalizing tents. Here are the 5 popular tent options for your big day!
Pole Tent
The classic tent. This tent comes in an abundance of sizes. It is described just like its name, held up by poles. Some smaller tents have one pole and some can have over 10. The pole tent has a simplistic and elegant feel to it, while also emphasizing the different colors and decor you add to it.
Sailcloth Tent
Sailcloth tents are very similar to pole tents. Sailcloth tents look very similar to pole tents when it comes to shapes. However, the biggest difference is what the tent material is made of. Sailcloth tents are made with sailcloth material rather than the vinyl material that pole tents are made of. If you light up a sailcloth tent at night, it makes the whole tent glow due to the more translucent material.
Clear Tent
Clear tents have defiantly made a comeback if the last several years. More and more people are getting creative and wanted to do things out of the norm. Clear tents are definitely the way to go if you want to do something different. Clear tents are just made of clear vinyl. This tent gives you the option to stay safe from the weather but also enjoy the stars and nature around you.
Framed Tent
A framed tent is the perfect tent if you want to loose those random poles. If you have a very specific set-up, having poles in there might change some things around. When it comes to the pipes, this gives you the option to do more hanging decoration and it helps hide the pipes.
Beach Tent
Beach tents don’t offer the protection of the other tent styles, though it can provide shade. This tent, however, is very aesthetically pleasing. With the drapes and florals that you can have fun with makes this option perfect for a beach wedding.
All tent styles have positives and negatives. You can really dress these tents up or let them stay the way they are, either way, having an outdoor tent wedding will still look beautiful!
