Cozy Holiday Bedroom

It’s getting cozy in here!! If you follow along on Instagram, you’ll know that I just recently updated the floors in my bedroom from dark green carpet to blonde engineered hardwood. This exciting change has been a long time coming and called for a cozy holiday restyle! I never thought red, or in this case “cayenne” was an option for my bedroom, I didn’t want my room to look like the McAllister house, but post flooring overhaul, the possibilities really opened up. I gifted myself a cozy bundle from Tuft & Needle. Starting with a set of linen sheets. I choose the Cloud color, a perfect warm white base. Because being cozy is all about the layers, I added my duvet with my matching Tuft & Needle linen cover, also in Cloud. I was so exited to mix it up from my normal neutrals, so I added a quilt in Cayenne! I LOVE a light layer, it is my absolute favorite thing in the warmer months to switch from my heavy duvet to a lighter quilt, and the thing I love most about this color way is that it’s a different shade on the front and back so it doubles the styling possibilities! Finally finished the look with a lovely textured throw blanket in Fog.
