Baby Boy #3 Nursery
I knew baby #3, wasn’t going to have too many new things, but then we found out that it’s another boy, even less to buy. This little guy is not getting one new piece of furniture for his nursery, except for a DIY table I have planned. After planning two boy nurseries and knowing that this time around I’m working with what I’ve got, I was fresh out of ideas. In case you haven’t been following me closely for the past three years, Monroe, baby number 2 had a denim and mustard room with California sunshine vibes. And way back in 2015 I designed my first baby boy, Oliver, a primary color New York nursery.
I finally landed on a starting point, via an idea I had if I had a girl. I had an idea for a framed out statement wallpaper wall behind the crib. In that scenario my heart was set on this Kate Zaremba pinkish paper. I found the pair of lamps pictured on my mood board below on marketplace and I know I had the funk and the direction for baby boy’s room! I was planning to execute the wallpaper idea, but with this Hovia wall mural and color block the rest of the walls.
Spoiler alert, the impatient executer in me didn’t want to wait for the paper, so DIYed the mural using paint. It’s not quite done, but loving it!
