What Should a Wedding Planner Wear to Work?
When chatting with my fellow wedding professionals at the Venue3Two Bridal Bazaar a few weeks back we discovered we all had the same challenge. What to wear when we work a wedding. I think photographers and any other vendor that is present for the whole event would face a similar challenge. We collectively decided that jumpsuits were our favorite thing to wear. With a jumpsuit you can somewhat blend into the background with the guests, and you are safe to climb on ladders and crawl under tables without flashing anyone. We also came up with several requirements for said jumpsuit they are as follows:
polished looking, no fabric that looks too cheap
cropped legs, so there is no tripping risk
legs that aren’t too wide
nothing with funky ties, or closures that you’d need help closing
no white (duh)
nothing that will break the bank
Given all of those requirements, I sourced 10 jumpsuits that I think fit the bill.
black wrap jumpsuit - $67
belted black jumpsuit - $99
Black Creped jumpsuit - $49
Sleeveless blue jumpsuit - $28
khaki ribbed jumpsuit - $62
tan utility jumpsuit - $59
tie sleeve jumpsuit - $22
I personally pair my jumpsuit with a pair of Frye Clogs, more polished than sandals or sneakers with plenty of support.
and an apron to hold all my supplies, timelines and emergency kit.

It was my dream to return to Cinque Terre, a place we fell in love with on our Italian Honeymoon back in 2012, to renew our vows. I wanted to bring our whole family on an Italian adventure to celebrate this milestone. We booked Luca Vieri to photograph the celebration. My boys walked me down the aisle carrying bouquet I clip from the side of the road. My husband and I shared heartfelt notes to each outer, over looking the sea, before heading down to Monterosso Al Mare for photos and dinner. The day was truly magical!
